1. Agreement to these terms

By using markitcards.com (the “Site”) or the services offered through it (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Mark It. is operated by Mark It Cards LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Mark It.”). We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the new effective date at the top of this page.

2. What we do

Mark It. helps you design and mail real photo postcards. Specifically:

Suggested message text drafted by AI based on details you provide
Printing on premium cardstock (6x9 postcard format)
Addressing, postage, and drop-off with USPS
Delivery via USPS First-Class Mail (US addresses only)

3. Pricing and payment

Price: $8.99 per postcard, all-in. That includes design, printing, addressing, postage, and delivery.

Payment:All payments are processed through Stripe. You’ll be charged when you place your order.

Sales tax: If required by your state, applicable sales tax will be added at checkout.

4. Delivery timing

Print: We hand off your card to our print partner within one business day after payment, subject to their 1pm ET / 10am PT daily cutoff.

Delivery: USPS First-Class Mail typically arrives in 5–7 business daysfrom the day it’s mailed. Delivery windows exclude weekends and USPS holidays.

Addresses:You’re responsible for the accuracy of the recipient address and your return address. Mail sent to an incorrect address is not eligible for a refund.

Domestic only: We currently ship to addresses within the 50 United States.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation window:Once an order is submitted, it enters our print partner’s production queue and cannot be cancelled after the cancellation window closes (typically within 4 hours of payment).

Damaged mail:If a postcard arrives visibly damaged, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo. We’ll reprint and re-mail at no cost.

Lost mail:USPS First-Class Mail is not trackable at the individual-piece level. If a postcard doesn’t arrive within 14 business days, contact us and we’ll investigate. We’ll reprint and re-mail one lost card per calendar year per customer at no cost.

6. AI-generated content

We use AI to help you draft the message on your card. You always get to review and edit the message before checkout.The final content is yours — you’re responsible for making sure it’s accurate, appropriate, and doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mark It. to create or send content that is:

Illegal, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or threatening
An impersonation of another person or entity
A violation of anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
Fraud, spam, or unsolicited bulk mail
Hate speech or incitement to violence

We reserve the right to refuse orders that violate these terms and to issue a refund at our discretion.

8. Your photos and content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to print, address, and mail your postcard on your behalf. You represent that you have the right to use any photo you upload.

9. Our intellectual property

The Mark It. name, logo, wordmark, designs, layouts, and site content are our property. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We don’t warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our print partner is USPS-integrated, but we don’t control the postal system, and USPS timelines can vary.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Mark It. is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
